Happy Turkey Day (or Tur ducken day if you're BMC)!!
I love Thanksgiving Day. It's my favorite holiday of the year because it's all about spending time with the peeps you love and grubbin' good eats. And what I love most is thinking about all the people and things that bring me the most bliss in my life. Yo, I'm talkin' about givin' thanks.
What am I most thankful for?
-My gorgeous, sweet and eternally wonderful husband. Thanksgiving always brings one single, very special memory...it's when I fell madly in love with man that I would later marry. Our courtship began 16 years ago this weekend. 16 YEARS and we've been inseparable. (And for those of you trying to calcuate how old I am, we were 17 when we starting dating, okay?)
-My adorable, cute-as-buttons, melt-your-heart little boys...Nolan and Quin are my heart and soul. I'm blessed to have these such happy, spirited sons who bring me nothing by joy and crankiness, all day, every day.
-My family...immediate and in-laws. I'm a lucky gal who has many folks to love for many reasons. And with all the disasters and sadness that have wreaked havoc on our world this year, I'm especially thankful that my family is healthy and safe.
-New friends...I've made some wondeful new friends this year. But Qui-qui-ri-qui and her family rock. I've always been one to think that everything happens for a reason. And I believe one of the reasons I gave birth to little Q. on the day I did was first, because the child needed to damn well get out of my belly and second, to bring a new friend into my world. She's like a long, lost sister.
-Getting the Axe...Go Bears! Just gotta love my Golden Bears treadin' all over the Cardinals on their own turf. HAH!
-Givin' the Axe...That's right. I gave my old company that axe and said adios to corporate America. All so I could do what I love most...write.
-Dr. Noah Drake coming back to General Hospital...so what that I don't have a television and will probably never see Rick Springfield's return to his infamous role. He's still a hottie.
My list can go on for days. What are you most thankful for this year?
