My pal Jason, over at DadCentric, poses some interesting fodder today when he asks, "Are dadbloggers more civil than mommybloggers?" At first I wondered, is "civil" the right word? But yup, it is. And I don't think it's limited to mom or dad blogs. I imagine if you examined male versus female blogs in many different spaces or topic areas, you'd find that women are more, er, passionate, when it comes to playing - or not playing - nice. Whit, has the following observation on J's post that I thought was pretty accurate: "Women live life in competition, men compete in life. What happens in the blogworld is just an extension of that."
Check out Jason's post and the growing comments section. Add your two cents. It's a good discussion, especially in light of some current angst in the blogworld.
