I am still behind in snapping Daily Card photos from the remainder of October and I took the first week of November off thanks to minimum school days for Five. Today, I found new inspiration.
My parents have this little game they like to play. When they come to visit, the leave something in my garage for me to mysteriously find. Like a box of books from my childhood. Old albums. Reports from grade school. Or my most recent discovery...a plastic bin of cassette tapes from the late 80's and early 90's. Most of the cases were empty, probably left in the 1966 Ford Mustang that my husband and I used to drive around in back in our early courting days. But this bin, it's a time stamp of my life from grade school all the way on through college. Of course, it tells much about my musical tastes back then (insert soundbite from my husband saying "Whats changed?").
To finish out this deck, I'm going to be using cassette tape artwork for my daily cards, mixed in with other random materials I want to capture a mood or thought for the day.
Let's begin, shall we? I present you with "the bin if tapes."
Two of diamonds: date stamp, blue stamp pad from stampin' up, personal photo, glue stick.
Care to take a guess at the tapes you see?
