While it was a chilly morning in our quiet Silicon Valley town, the temperature is now in the mid-60s on this Thanksgiving Day. Crisp air, rich blue sky. I'm so happy this is my home.
The boys woke us up at 5:45am, an unwelcome pattern in the crazedparent house. We were out for coffee and croissants at our local cafe by 8 am, and running around the Stanford campus shortly thereafter. This photo is of the water fountain located at the center of campus, directly in front of the campanile. I thought it a perfect image to capture our day -- (mostly) peaceful yet morphing from moment to moment.
What am I grateful for this year? My list is endless but can be summed up in three words: trust, love and patience.
We're off to enjoy dinner with the crazedparent Grammy & Gramps. And we're all sending out warm wishes to our friends -- online and off for a wonderful day.
