While Seven was busy making his Valentine's Day cookies (post coming, I swear), Q. was crafting up some down and dirty cards for his preschool class. The inspiration came from the hearts issue of Kids Crafty Weekly.
I cut a heart shape out of a pink sponge; Q. dipped the sponge stamp in red (non-toxic) acrylic paint and pressed it onto a 3" x 3" square of cardstock.
My attitude towards Valentine's Day has flipped from crass to excitement and I have my kids to thank for that. I'll just add that to the running list of things I love about them.
